Partnerships
IGPA's research and public service activities respond to problems and issues raised by state and local officials, citizens, associations, and our own experts. We believe it is important to our public engagement mission to develop partnerships with government agencies, associations, and service organizations. IGPA is committed to leadership education and development at all levels of government in Illinois, the Midwest, and the nation. We do this through formal leadership education programs such as NEW Leadership Illinois for college-age women interested in public service, the Leadership Education and Development Program for mayors and other elected officials, and our Leadership Academies for county and township officials. All these programs are successful because of the support of collaborating organizations.
