Health Policy
The Health Policy Program conducts and distributes research in areas of health care, health policy and health economics.
Faculty in the Program also produce educational and public engagement opportunities to discuss this research and health care issues that are of the greatest concern to government, such as access, quality, cost containment and subsidized care. The Health Care Program faculty also have developed expertise in the area of universal coverage, drawing on examples from the experiences of other states.
Faculty in the Health Policy Program develop seminars, workshops and conferences that bring the nation’s top experts to the University of Illinois campuses to discuss the latest research in a variety of policy areas involving health care.
